Research Interests:
Dr. Prokopiou’s current main interests are focused on elucidating the origin of Tau pathology in the brain using PET and high field MRI. Dr. Prokopiou is also interested in understanding the underlying mechanisms of neurovascular coupling and the influence of physiology (arterial CO2, respiration, cardiac activity) on cerebral blood flow using multimodal neuroimaging measurements.
