My research emphasis is on the development of novel radiotracers for neurodegenerative diseases and oncological target probes using short-lived PET radionuclides, carbon-11 and fluorine-18. Synthesis of potent and selective small organic molecules for radiolabeling and the successful candidates are further evaluated in preclinical.

  • Development, organic synthesis, radiolabeling and formulation of novel PET ligands
  • Precursors for radiolabeling of compounds using cGMP automated boxes for diagnostic imaging
  • Small animals and non-human primates PET imaging
  • In-vitro, ex-vivo and metabolism studies of novel radiotracers
